Recently rewatched the movie and decided I wanted to ask about something I've always questioned.

When people point out the inaccuracies in the movie, it is always mentioned about how the board could have been big enough to hold both Jack and Rose. However, there is another scene in the movie that I think is a little illogical.

It's the famous scene when they're standing on the rail and Rose says "Jack, Im FLying!" Doesn't it seem incredibly dangerous to be on that rail? I mean with the strong winds pushing against them and the inconsistent movement of the ship it seems so easy for one of them to lose their balance and go overboard. Standing on a rail like that is even kind of hard to do without all the other things I just mentioned. You might be able to do it while holding onto something, but stretching your arms out and pretending like you're flying would only make it worse. Anyone agree with me?

She tried to kill herself 2 nights before. I don't think safety was on her mind.

IRL there was also a lookout station there, so they couldn't have done it anyway.

The great thing about all of this is that it is almost 3:00 in the morning and I am an old guy, still awake and I have yet to see this movie and never intend to. Buenas noches.

Has it ever been discussed here how big of a whore Rose was? Not to mention a dumbass?

I've never seen the whole thing, but I was channel surfing the other night and happened to catch the sinking, starting with where the orchestra is playing. I have to say it was pretty exciting and well done.

Stupid bitch could have taken care of her kids and grandkids with that diamond, but no she wants to hang on to it to remind her of the hood rat she banged like she was on a spring break carnival cruise.

Yes. Many times. She basically threw her life away for some homeless dude she essentially had a one night stand with. And throwing the diamond away was intentionally stupid.

This movie isn't very good, but I will agree that the whole iceberg/sinking part was really well done.

This.

Upon recent rewatch, it reminded me about how big of a pretentious douche James Cameron is. Plus, hes never allowed a freakin proper remaster and transfer of True Lies onto video. Rumor has it that its because of the terrorist angle.
