Can we all agree that the suburbs around Shreveport are the best in the state? Thank you.

Why wouldn't I just move inside the limits of NoLa?

Mandeville. Near the lake in old mandeville to be exact.
Not near as much trash and rednecks in that area as compared to most suburbs.
Plus they have the best restaurants of any suburb in the state.
And it's an easy drive into N.O.

Can one count Old Metairie while excluding the rest of Metairie?

If not, then Mandeville.

Without a doubt Mandeville/Covington and this is from someone who hasn't lived in any LA suburb.

Old Metairie is the correct answer.

people will come on here and scream meth yadda yadda yadda, but with bass pro, sams club, and soon to be juban crossing with movie theatre coming and all the shops and restaurants it'll be hard to argue against this (not many burbs that are this close to a large city can boast the amenities that DS will soon have)

however, mandeville/covington is pretty damned good if you're considering them a suburb of nola,

denham does have those to beat tho in affordability of housing
