Anyone been to lake nantahala

In North Carolina. Staying in the mountains in June they said they have some nice smallmouth.

Been up to go Rafting the gorge. but not sure about fishing at the lake. From what they say up there it is great fishing. If time allows I would definitely try the rafting, and do the 1 man Duckie. Go to paddle inn. Great family owned spot.

I have also been rafting on the river up there. Didnt get a chance to fish. Beautiful country up there.

We're staying at hooked by the view lodge. Definitely gonna do some rafting. Place has a kayak so I'm gonna give it a try
