Guys I have a really cool border collie that we adopted but I was not prepared to give this dog the time he needs. Id like to see someone with time and patience take good care of him. We are in Church Point. If you know anyone or have advice on where to look for a good home for him post it here.
Thanks!

Does the dog have any issues other than energy that needs to be put to good use?

You say you "adopted" him, does that mean it was a shelter dog? Just curious to know if this guy is purebred? I may know someone who may be interested, they've been checking out breeders & I thought I'd check out your dog for them? How old is it & is it up to date on his shots & heartworm prevention? Thanks

We have one pure border and one border mix. The pure border was a handfull for the first 6 to 8 months, but is the most amazing dog I have ever owned and when we move into our new home, we will get another one. The energy level drops as they get older, but borders do need a few hours a day outside so a big fenced yard is a must and I take her to a dog park at least once a week. The intelligence level of border collies is off the charts. Stick with it...you will not be sorry.

There are several border collie rescue groups that you can reach out to if you are not able to keep the dog.

He was adopted through one of the local foster groups. I'm almost positive he is not pure bred but he is up to date on all vaccines. I'll have to check on the age
