Wedged in between Jordan and Lebron, how will history remember Kobe?

Well Jordan of course is already considered one of the greatest of all time, if not the greatest of all time. Lebron still has a lot of basketball left to be played but at the pace he is going I think his all-time greatness will be undeniable as well.

With that said what about Kobe? Obviously he has had a great career, has lots of titles, lots of individual accomplishments, is top 10 all time in quite a few categories but with all the Mt.Rushmore and GOAT talk is it possible that Kobe's legacy / accomplishments get lost in the shuffle between Jordan and Lebron? How will history remember Bryant?

Truth be told I had forgotten about that saga.

6-6 SG. Plays for the Lakers. Relatively popular sports figure.

Probably one of the most polarizing athletes of all-time.

I used to despise him, but as he's aged, I realize how rare of a breed he is, and in this new "Let's all be buddies" NBA I can honestly say I'm going to miss the hell out of him.

He's undoubtedly one of the best 10 players of all-time, if not higher. I'll remember his inhuman work ethic and drive. He was unstoppable for a large portion of his career and when his athleticism waned a bit he retooled his game.

The guy definitely has a larger than life aura about him. The Matt Barnes .gif of him trying to intimidate Kobe is one of my favorites.

That's one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.

Top 5-10. Could make a decent argument for a top 5 ranking.

Top 9-12 player of all-time.

So no, he won't be forgotten. He's an all-time great player who played for the Lakers, and won a lot of titles.

That's pretty unforgettable.

I'd love to see that argument. Frankly, Kobe can be pretty overrated by a large portion of NBA fans. He's more like a top 25 player in NBA history. I can't seriously put him in the top ten

I strongly disagree. There haven't been 20 players better than Kobe Bryant.

That's not natural. 99.9% of people would flinch there.

I'm going to remember him wedged in between some white girl's butt cheeks.

He's not standing in front of him. It just looks like he put the ball in his face. He didn't actually.

yeah, his longevity and his ability as a scorer to hit difficult shots mean he has a place in NBA history for anyone who saw him play. he will be over-rated by many because he played for the most watched team in the NBA but he's hardly alone in that type of distinction (most stars are not Tim Duncan)
