Received an offer yesterday, said he was thinking about committing on the spot but wants to take more visits per Rivals. I really like where we stand with him, wasn't sure for a while there.

Is Jazz done growing? It seems like the last time I saw him he was still in that awkward stage where his feet were too big for his body. Haha. He dominated that game by the way. I would imagine he is much more fluid now. From what I've seen, he's an overrated athlete, but it's really hard to argue with a 6'5" kid that can really catch. This recruiting season will be much different....these LA kids seem much more ready to be tigers.

Scout.com (Coppage) had some quotes from his HS coach about how Ferguson's favorite school is LSU.
That runs counter to some of the know-it-alls on this board that claimed in the past that he hates LSU.

I hope we can land him....I just noticed that his brother Jay signed with Louisiana Tech last year.
Not saying that Tech will be a threat...just throwing it out there where his brother ended up.

I coached 7th grade baseball back in the day and faced him...he was unreal. I thought "This dude I a stud." Fast forward several years, and now he has an offer for football. Some kids are just blessed

I went to high school with Jazz and have talked to Coach Odom on several occasions about Jazz. From my most recent conversation with him at the beginning of this month Odom told me that Jarvis Landry asked if he could individually work with Jazz, when they went to an LSU football camp, because he really liked what he saw. Coach also told me in past conversations that Jazz really liked Florida State and Alabama, but then again that was when he was fresh off the trip from Tuscaloosa.
