It really is the perfect show. Violence and tits given in epic fashion with a grand magical fantasy world as the set.

So I just saw the ad with people losing their shite and they described the "red wedding" as the "most shocking event in television history." So I went to YouTube and watched it, but I don't see what the big deal is. Someone want to clue me in?

You really would need to have watched the show up to that point. Watching a scene of any show out of context doesn't have the same impact.

It was basically the "good guys" of the war who were getting revenge and winning the war from something 2 seasons ago. And out of nowhere the leaders all get killed in a unexpected traitorous way.
