You could just unfollow him.

It's better than all the Heat fans that come out of their shells in June.

He probably says the same thing about the guy who tries too hard to let everyone know how much he "knows" about sports

I have a ton of facebook friends who talk like they know sports, but couldn't throw a ball 5 feet. They post a solid 50-60 times for every game they watch giving commentary. I would delete them but it's slightly entertaining

Have someone I work with like that. Anytime anyone is having a discussion about sports, "Sports are pointless. You all should focus on real problems in the world."

Needless to say, nobody likes them or invites them out for a beer after work.

I had one guy that I got rid of that would make comments like, "How can people care about football with so many problems in the world." Then he would go on to make posts about weed, shitty music, and movies. fricking moron.

I was a theatre minor in college for a semester... you'd think that every other theatre major/minor hated sports and anything to do with sports, except one of the professors who was head of the theatre department who was a big sports guy and went to all of our sporting events

Probably because they are jealous that we brought 50,000k to a football game while their theatre performances would maybe attract 1,000 people total during its weeklong run.

I have one of these friends on facebook. He is super religious and compares America's love of football to idolatry.

Austin was a pretty bad sports town with all the hipsters unless of course it was a sport like ping pong or cricket. You almost had to mesh with the flat bill crowd if you wanted to get out and watch a game or talk sports.

I work with a guy who gets pissed everytime we talk about sports at work. His response is always "how do they change your life?" And he'll start getting defensive when everyone talks about the party they went to for the game. Can not stand this guy.
