I just read this article in the advocate. Sounds like a lot of sketchy stiff going on with all the claims handling and BP is no longer just going to sit back and take it. Advocate article

BP scare tactics, first they say they will cover all the damages, now these douches don't want to pay for their mistakes

So they made it up?

More likely the bp attorneys were incompetent and were taken advantage of by typically shady New Orleans/la characters. Boo hoo.

That directed at me?

I understand that they don't want to compensate fraudulent claims, at the same time, it's pretty clear that they are also doing what they can to tie this up in court as long as they can.

BP has only itself to blame.

It agreed to a quick settlement with a bunch of crooked, unethical plaintiffs' lawyers that anyone with a modicum of legal training would know allowed for rampant fraud. It (and its lawyers) did not count on the population of Louisiana to be so dishonest (appparently ignoring the fraud from Katrina).

Obvious BP doesn't read the rant or they would have known this

Did you have a claim get denied or held up in the process?

BP has paid a frick load of money. I don't blame them for taking a little control over what's being dispensed.

The ease of filing and succeeding with a fraudulent claim was ridiculous.

I am confident the people directly affected received compensation.

This Is mostly due to the moratorium anyway, not even the oil spill.
