Disagree, I'd much rather force someone to shoot the ball than the best player in the world.

Lebron ranks 7th in 3 point field goal %...on his own team. Being the best player in the game doesn't make you the best shooter. You're talking about a guy who bricked two 3 pointers in the NBA Finals in an elimination game and got bailed out by tipped rebounds and Ray Allen.
without watching any of the game or analyzing that last play gif, I'd imagine spoe had LBJ plus 4 shooters on the floor since it was the last play. Who would you double team off? Someone leaves their man to double LBJ and a heat player is wide open. If you get that kind of defense, I'd let lebron take off balanced, fall away 3 pointers every time. Either that or battier/Allen/bosh with wide open looks. This team was constructed for this very predicament. It's why it's so hard to beat the heat

All the searching and he's never been called THE SMARTEST basketball mind in anything. Even after winning the title and mvp, he's not called that, which most MVPs are.

Keep fantasizing. One quote out of thousands of coach K quotes call him smart. Then a rookie mo harkless is y'all's savior. Keep fantasizing.

Did I ever say he's a dumb player? No. Hes just a physical specimen and that is the reason he's the mvp and best in the league. If it was all about intelligence the aGMs would have voted him the smartest because he's the BEST in the nba.

Why are people still feeding him? He's either willfully ignorant or trolling. Both are perfect reasons to ignore him.

He made the 1st 3, missed the 2nd 3 and bosh got the rebound to Allen.

Actually he missed the first. Wade tipped the ball. Miller got the rebound and passed it to LeBron, who then made the 2nd.

That said, his post was intentionally inflammatory and ridiculously stupid. But tis the trend with opinions about LeBron.

ETA- and i'm guessing the other guy can't find a link about coach K saying bron bron is the SMARTEST PLAYER ever

Well, he said that LeBron was one of the smartest players he's ever been around. Never said anything about the 'smartest player ever.'

Here's this
- "He's the most unique player to ever play basketball," the Duke coach said Wednesday of the Miami Heat forward, "because he can play every position, both offensively and defensively."
- "We can rave about his physical talents, but they're matched, they're definitely matched, by his leadership qualities and his brilliance," he said. "He's a really, really smart guy. Right now, he's in command of all those things.

It was also a radio show that Coach K referred to LeBron as one of the smartest he's ever been around. It was 'The Herd.' This is the best I could find...
The Herd

MrBlue105 may want to do a little research on Lebron's jumpshot.

So, what was the reason that they needed God's luck to win? It wasn't the intelligence differential? What was it then?
Uhh, the reason is the Spurs are really good.

If Lebron had the greatest bball mind in the world, he should have been able to read pop and teach the great talents of bosh and d-wade to shut down the spurs key players

Lebron is the 7th best 3 point shooter on his own team. My point was that letting him shoot that 3 is the right call, every time.
