I know I know wrong board.
My old 60G Ipod was going crazy so I downloaded/backed up all the songs to a hard drive and they are sorted by artist. I used a 3rd party ripping software.
I purchased a new Ipod and I need to move the songs from harddrive to itunes to ipod(new) Can I do this with a smooth one motion sequence? or do I have to import each folder(cd) the artist one at a time? this could take weeks. I have a S ton of music. Please help.
Edit: I never synced the old one up, my Itunes library is empty. basically rip a CD add to ipod and delete.
Edit 2: My old system would never let me drag and drop I always had to use the File: add option.
Well now I can drag and drop, problem fixed. Thanks anyway!

I think the only way to do that is to sign in with the orignal apple account used on the 1st one that you downloaded the music with. Sign in to that account, on the new ipod. It should sync all the music downloaded then onto the one; if I remember correctly.
