I thought that he committed to Michigan State. Could be wrong, i just remember that they were surprised by a commitment and I thought it was him.

Most NFL ready HS lineman I've seen in a while.

He is HUGE and very quick/athletic and physically mature.

Crazy prospect, MSU got a great one.

He's not even close to NFL ready. And give me senior year Clowney over this guy.

He committed to Mich St, however his parents are refusing to sign the LOI. They want him to go to a college outside of the state of Michigan.

I don't think any HS lineman could do well in the NFL, but I think he's the most. He's just very huge and not fat/thick huge, he's strong as shite.

Clowney was a monster and another that could make an NFL squad at that age. No doubt. He still needed a bit of weight though, I think, or maybe not. But this kid is on that level. He can play all 4 spots on the line also, which is invaluable.

From a pay site article that quotes his dad. Basically his parents don't want him to be around his friends.

A recruit cannot go anywhere his parents do not sign off on.

Malik wants MSU...can only go there as walk on if Mom doesn't sign
Mom wants Ohio State or FSU
Dad wants Ohio State
Mom hates MSU and has custody until 21

Could change national rankings if Malik doesn't stand firm. If he goes to OSU they would jump to #2.

Parental influence can cut both ways but it surely has kept us from getting some elite guys this year. Kids go where their parents want them to unless parents do not care. That is why Miles in homes are so important.

Paging Les Miles to offer them a better solution.

any more news on this? seems like LSU would be a great "compromise" for him and his family seeing as the parents don't want him to stay in Michigan. Family has stated they don't think MSU's coaches have a good enough track record of putting D-lineman in the first round. Get 'em Brick/Miles!
