Any U.S. Communists on the OT Rooting for Mother Russia during the Olympics?

I hope not.
However, tRant has at least one who claims to be a communist rooting for Mother Russia.
Is he trolling? Perhaps. Likely even.
Yet, he's steadfastly maintained the same story for years; he is of Russian heritage, visits Russia as often as possible, and is highly critical of the American way of life.

Russia is not a true communist government.
I can see him rooting for Cuba, venezuela, or North Korea, however.

Don't go tell a Russian they are a communist country. They will be EXTREMELY offended. To them, communism (and the USSR) is a 70 year dark period in Russian history. They are a Christian nation that was under the oppression of communism for several decades, and really the government isn't communist anymore, much more of just a socialist dictatorship.

The US has its flaws obviously but Russia is a shite country and much more corrupt. frick them. They are already being exposed as unable to host a decent Olympics.

Do you not know the fundamental difference in just the concepts between "communism" and "dictatorship"?
You seem to think those words mean the same thing but you wouldn't say "capitalism" is the same as "democracy."
