OT Techies assemble.....im having a brain fart here.
Was having a battery issue with my iphone 5 today so I went to the apple store and the guy told me I had some corrupt software of some shite and to completely erase my phone and be sure to set up as new phone.
So I came home and made backup and moved all of my photos onto my computer just to be safe.
When my phone rebooted and I went thru the setup and such all of my contacts came back.
How to I restore all my apps and such wirelessly? Is that possible? Im on an older macbook and my OS isnt up today date so I cant plug it into the macbook and sync.

You need to plug it into an Android and then go to settings>restore>autoboot.
It should re-rout your old data from the cloud to your phone if the Android is version 8 or higher.

If you can't plug it in and sync, how did you back it up then?

Just go to the App Store, click updates, purchased, and then redownload. The apps won't come back unless you chose "restore from backup" and not "set up as new".
