Wouldn't Foo Fighters be a good act?

Not as a live band. The act has to be pretty mainstream

shite Bruno Mars has 50 million views on YouTube and nobody knew who he was

I wish the Super Bowl would embrace the musical roots of the host city. I was very disappointed that Beyonce played last year. I was at the game and it wasn't horrible or anything, but why have some chick with no local ties playing in one of the greatest musical cities in the world? I was pissed they didn't do a medley of classic NOLA artists like The Meters, Allen Toussaint, Dr John, etc.. It would have been great national exposure for NOLA culture.

Next year's SB is in Arizona. They don't really have much musical history there so I don't know what they could do.

Actually, i think the foo fighters are a perfect fit for halftime, not my cup of tea, but they would be entertaining.
