In 1980 something (ish), I had to buy USA Today the next day to read that Harvey Williams switched from the Aggies to LSU while standing in the lobby of my office 42nd Lexington New York. TD and all of you make it so cool. OK thanks to maybe most of you!!

I remember the Harvey Williams flip. I also went to the LSU / TAM game his freshman year sitting right behind an Aggie fan. Yes, those were the days of watching the 10pm News to find out the list of recruits. Got to Love "The Chicken"...TigerDroppings...

I remember when I was notified by a pigeon when Y.A. Tittle signed his letter of intent.

Back then, pretty much the only source of recruiting information was Tiger Rag.

Any of y'all how the radio commercial used to go? It was pretty funny.

Back in the day one of the guys I use to work with had a subscription to Tiger Rag and we use to sit around the table and look at that booklet like a Bible class reading the Bible. I remember in the late 80's early 90's listening to Hanagriff and it may have been Ott not sure on the radio waiting to hear then the LOI came in.

Set by a radio and waited for Hap to have Max Emfslinger (SP) to update his recruiting list - Hap was totally pissed when Tyrone Vaughs (SP again) flipped us off and signed with Fulane to later going to some jr college and ending up hustling in the FQ for change. Tiger Rag was the only research/info back in the day.

I'll take that sandwich too and pickles pickles pickles.

I used to get the Tiger Rag. By time I got it in the Mail it was too late and the game was over. Don't need a preview on Monday for the game that was on Saturday.

Nowadays we want info NOW
