Anybody see this happening, or is he 100% DE? He's 6'3 217 with speed and some real hitting power. ''d like him at either spot so how much of a chance do we have with him?

I mean he looks like he plays both on his highlights so is this DE projection based on scout opinions?

Defensive end. His frame is ideal for it. Give him a year to hit the weights and gain a little weight and he'll be fine.

DE all the way. He's never had to drop into coverage and LSU won't ask him to do that either. He and his brother will be popular players here. Both are studs!

This. He will be pushing 240 by fall with his frame, or more

On his hudl he playing Sam. He plays his responsibility well he may not be as fluid as Alexander but strong at the point of attack.

He's 17 or 18 and probably never eats properly.

He's gonna add 15 pounds with ease with his frame.

I don't know about this fall. The days of the Nebraska "weight lifting program" are over. But, if Sione has the wing span, he's about proto-typical for an LSU DE as a senior in HS.

If he can keep that 4.60 with about 240 on him this could work out REAL well.

I like all the enthusiasm for this recruit, but isn't he still committed to Texas? Has he suggested publicly he's decommitting?

Same build and playing style as my son, although I think my son is faster off the ball. Hard to say from film, as he played with his hand on the ground versus Sione appearing to play as a stand-up DE/LB. For sure, my son is taller. And he was apparently deemed to be too skinny to be a DE in college. Daddy wanted a 4 year ride...

Played DE and PK for U-High. One of these days, I'll pull together some Hudl highlights, though it appears more for his scrapbook than for college review.

At least he has TOPS Plus based on grades and ACT so it will only cost me several grand a semester for him to go to LSU. Times 2, since his brother is already there.
