Potato pancakes?
Maybe Taste of Bavaria in Ponchatoula but they're pretty simple to make

Nope. German pancakes are like a mixture of scrambled eggs and pancake batter topped with fresh squeezed lemon juice and powdered sugar. I've had it a few times in Texas and it was great.

There are many more than one German Pancake. I have a German cookbook in front of me with no less than 6 and from different regions in Germany. My best friend is 1st generation American and his mother from Germany and immigrated here right after the war. He often speaks of the influence of German potato pancakes in their life, but I'm sure that's pretty regional as well. After looking at the picture you posted it doesn't look to be the same, almost more akin to a pizza. Can you describe it in a little more detail. I'm curious, and if nothing else, I'll show it to my buddy and see if he can make heads or tails of it and where it can be found locally.

Gotcha. I've only ever had this one.
The place I had it at was Ol South Pancake House in Fort Worth. This is their description
"World Famous German Pancake
Our signature pancakes filled with fresh squeezed lemons, powdered sugar and whipped butter." Essentially their pancake batter mixed with scrambled eggs to create a fluffy, textured pancake. They then layer powdered sugar on top, squeeze fresh lemon juice and mix it. Then wrap the whole thing on top of itself. Looks like this

Try this...
Scrambled Pancakes (kaiserschmarren)
It sounds like what is being described. It's scrambled eggs whipped to a frothy consistency, mixed with sugar, flour, and milk, fried to golden on both sides. The one I have calls for cinnamon as well as fruit if desired.
