From the Firearm Blog:

RIP Review

quote:

The trocars do break off the base as advertised, but the wound track is small compared to conventional HP ammunition. Combined with the feeding issue in a Glock 19 (!), the results are disappointing compared to the hype. - See more at: https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/02/03/review-g2r-r-i-p-ammo-youtube-interesting-results/#sthash.wUBut1TL.dpuf

Still, the round does showcase the likely future of high-performance ammunition. Using CNC machines to shape bullets has huge potential compared to current casting technologies. I look forward to seeing what they come out with next after multiple reviews and real-word AARs provide valuable feedback. - See more at: Review Link

Its a first design. I think it may lead to something much better as stated in the article. Should be fun to see what this leads to in a couple of years.

"Better" is subjective. I think there's a happy medium between FMJ ammo and a super buzzsaw projectile that turns men into mincemeat.

Not a ringing endorsement in the Youtube. I'm not gonna give this ammo a first look.
Expensive
FTF issues?
Don't want that hitting my feed ramp

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw the design. And if it doesn't even feed in a Glock 19, it's way too rigid.

Their first problem is they're trying to protect themselves with a 9mm and not a 45acp amirite?
