How much is Wilson going to get on his next contract?

With the rise of these QB deals and a Super Bowl under his belt, I'd think he's gonna command some serious coin. 18-20 mil?

depends on if Seattle wants to continue to win. I'd probably let him walk unless he's willing to be one of the lowest paid QBs in the league. He's pretty mediocre.

If he was actually a good teammate, not near as much as other star QBs.

That would be worse than the Flacco deal to me.

I don't think a lot of you understand exactly why Seattle is so good.

Doesn't matter if the defense is outstanding. Kid has played smart football in guiding them to NFC championship and SB in his only playin yeras so far. Pretty remarkable!

What someone else said. If Seattle wants to continue to be good, they keep their D in tact and their O line and running game together. Wilson is a game manager and an average QB. I guess I could see $13-15 a year, but even that seems like overpaying him.

he played like dog crap from about week 14 up until today. He was pretty terrible throughout the playoffs. Their running game and defense is just that ridiculously good.

I know their D is the reason Seattle is good, but does anyone really see Wilson taking a low deal after seeing the Qb market?

You sound like a crybaby whining about what this kid has done. A lot of shite QB's in the league get paid. I don't care what he has done since week 14. Seattles offense is shite outside Lynch. But this kid has proven he is a winner.

Wilson took them over that hump with mediocre WRs. Giv him a Megatron, Optimus Prime, Green, Bryant, Jones, Gordon, etc, and he'd be setting Seahawk records. He elevates that team to championship status with his smart play.

If you're gonna give Flacco, Bradford, and Vick a bunch of money for basically nothing, this guy deserves 70-80 mill himself.

Yep. WR's are crap. Harvin was the most explosive they had and he was out all season.

Good money.

It's still a QB league.

If Cutler is worth that, why wouldn't Wilson be?

So you define good teammate by willingness to take less money?

That sounds more like the definition of a stupid employee than good teammate.
