How long will Mickey fly under the radar?

This one is easy. A double-double at Kentucky and another 5 or 6 blocks. He has the best focus of anyone else on the team. He's also, by far the most consistent player we got. Let's enjoy this guy while he is still here because he could be gone after this year. Mickey =

Flying under the whose radar?

Well we play in the SEC, so IMO he stays under the radar unless he has big game in an upset at Kentucky or at Florida. Only way he is really going to get the National attention until the postseason.

Kid isn't nowhere near ready for the NBA. He struggled early on in the season.
Posted on 2/2/14 at 11:02 am to Mie2cents
He's one of the 9 players on the the freshman of the year watchlist, so he's not really going unnoticed. You don't usually hear anout players on teams that aren't going to make the ncaa tournament, but with a few more wins and we start to solidify our ncaa tourney status i think everybody on the team will start to get more publicity.

He is definitely pickup up some steam from the guys that follow the sport closely.
I just saw that he moved up to #7 in ESPN Insiders Top 10 freshman watchlist.

You don't have to be "ready" for the NBA, only need to be drafted to get paid. He struggled early on in the season? bullshite. In the first two games he had the most blocks ever by an LSU player playing their first two games.

Not Mickey. He was a beast, and has been very consistent since the beginning of the season.

Last I saw, Chad Ford had him ranked in the 90's for draft prospects.

bullshite my arse. Kid was hesitant early on. Missed a lot of shots right under the rim. Fumbled passes right in his hands early on and all. I'm glad he's finally settled down and has started playin quality basketball, but he should stay his arse in school another season. Not jump for tha paycheck as you are sayin. It's a problem now with too many not ready for primetime kids going straight to the pros. Another year won't hurt, work on more edumacation!

Chad Ford has Martin #69, Mickey #82, and JOB #83 on his Big Board. Doesn't look like he has done much adjusting to anything outside of the top 35 this season.
Lol can we just keep all three another year!

That's great and all, but each kid has a different situation. Just because a guy leaves early and does not get drafted done not mean he made the wrong decision. There are plenty of opportunities to play in the D League and overseas now and get paid to do so. Look I would love to keep all of these guys another season, but the truth for any college athlete is they are one major injury away from never getting paid to play, you can always come back and finish your degree believe it or not.

At least I don't have Mickey's dick up my arse as if he been all that since the beginning. Talk about full of shite.
