Sounds silly I know, but I'm hunting a new location in the morning that isn't a high traffic area. I can't find my grunt anywhere so I downloaded the app that has all the deer sounds. It sounds legit, but I'm worried it may do more harm than good.

I tried them during bow season on does and young bucks that I could see but weren't right under me. Some either didn't hear or had no reaction. The ones I know heard it didn't like it

No response from either fawns does or bucks at close or far range. I've had better response with actual calls.

I'm thinking it may be the depth of the tone that cannot be reproduced by a phone speaker.

I've used the primos app to grunt out bucks who where in range that responded surprisingly well. I've never had success with the bleat tho. I don't find it's really loud enough
