Fishing Saturday (Rig my Rods)

Im heading down to some brackish marsh near Cut-off Saturday and fishing the marsh for Specks, Reds, and Bass. I will only have 3 rods with me( one small spinning reel, and 2 baitcasters). I'm pretty sure the spinning reel will have your basic 1/4 oz jig head with a chartreuse 3' cocahoe minnow tail and clip on cork.
The other 2 rods I'm not sure what to tie on. my thoughts are the trusty Ole spinner bait-
and a shallow dive crankbait-
But im also thinking i should have a rattletrap and a worm somewhere in there....
Im straying away from the worm a little because it will be blowing 15-20 on saturday.....
OB please advise.

I'd have one rigged with a fairly heavy jig head and a gulp on the back. I like the swimming mullet because the tail action can draw a strike. Water is cold so the fish are going to be sluggish, just drag it and bump it slowly on the bottom. Every little twitch will make that tail go crazy, so you can fish slow and still create a lot of movement, the scent is a bonus

Bring 3" swim baits. Most versatile bait in brackish water.

Saltwater assassin opening night curly tail.
This bait is deadly in the winter. Fish it like worm fishing for bass. Slow on the bottom, the tail is light and gets a lot of action from just a small bump. I usually match with a pink 1/4 oz jighead. Change size depending on depth to keep it near the bottom.

Yea, if you ride the top of it when rigging and keep it in the solid plastic instead of coming through the molded gap for the hook it will last a bit longer. Still lucky to get to 8 fish on it though.
