a) Now?
b) for the future 5-10 years?

I say yes to both, he's top 10 in TDs only threw 9 picks. Top 10 completion percentage. On the cusp of top 10 yards, on a running team. And it just seems like the dude gets football and is very intelligent. He also rushed for 530 yards and can escape to extend the play

Only QBs I'd put ahead at this point (and I'm basing this off of if every player was available in a draft who am I taking for the next year or two)

Peyton
Brees
Rodgers
Brady
Luck
Rivers
Cam
Romo?
Ryan?

Not sure top 10 now. If so, maybe 10th. I think his great defense and running game allows him to play a very low-risk type of game.

If he played with Dallas defense and had to constantly play catch-up and throw often, then his numbers would not be so effecient.

But definitely possible top 10 in the future bc a few HOFs will have retired in 5-10 years.

No way Wilson is better then Luck. Seattle is absolutely loaded

I would say those 9 guys are better. You could make a case for him at 10 though.

I feel like Luck is overrated at this point. He has thrown 8 ints in 3 playoff games. Wilson has thrown 1 in 4 games. It's not like Wilson is surrounded by elite offensive talent either. Luck will be consistently great, maybe as early as next year, but he isn't there yet.

He may be one in the future. Seattle's current success is based more on defense and the running game.

Well yeah obviously, but I don't think that should take away from him. He does what he's asked to do and does it very well.

If not he's pretty darn close. Stafford should be in your list IMO and you could make an argument for Eli and Big Ben.

Tough to say. Yeah a few of the top ten will be retired but other young guys like RG3 and Tannehill could challenge him.

His turnovers are definitely an issue

But hes the only reason hes even in those playoff games to begin with. They are a terribly built football team

I love the way Wilson approaches the game

With that said though, if I had to give Seattle an MVP award, he would be very low on the list.

Seattle would be better IMO with one of these 10:
Peyton Manning
Brady
Rodgers
Brees
Romo
Newton
Eli Manning
Rivers
Ryan
Flacco

You could throw in Big Ben, Cutler, hell maybe even Stafford

I think he's a glorified game manager. Not that its a knock on him. I think he'll be in the league for a very long time, and will win a lot of games, but when you have the defense he has behind him, the run game they have with Lynch (top 3 RB), Wilson looks pedestrian IMO

No.

Manning
Brady
Rodgers
Brees
Romo
Rivers
Newton
Foles
Luck
Roethlisberger

That's just ten off the top of my head. And considering I'd take Kaepernick over Wilson, I'd say he's barely top 15.

ETA: LOL at anyone putting Stafford in their top ten.

Now? No way. He has a Top 2 defense and a Top 5 RB propping him up right now. He threw for 103 yards vs New Orleans. 103 yards.

For example, nobody has even mentioned Jay Cutler, but Seattle would be better with Cutler, NOW, than with Wilson.

He threw for 4000+ yards and had a similar QBR to Luck. Why so funny? I think it's debatable.
