Who do Democrats want in 2016? Who do Independents want in 2016?

Is Hillary a shoe-in?

Do Independents like anyone so far (maybe Hillary; maybe Paul)?

It's odd that only Republicans are being talked about. The esteemed Hillary Clinton needs no vetting, too?

Has the press still not learned their lesson from the Obama fiasco?

If not her then whom? I can't think of anyone right now but it's early.

Feel the same way. I mean you could trot out some names like Biden, Warren, Cuomo or O'Malley or Castro I guess but not sure about the hype they create.

Cuomo would be a bad national candidate

Agreed especially after his recent comments.

I thought Biden would give it a go, but it appears that he won't even get Obama's backing, since that's going to Hillary.

Maybe Bernie Sanders?

No one meaningful will throw their hat into a race they can't win.

my ideal choice would be Warren but i know she wouldnt have a shot winning nationally right now so i'll go with Hill but mainly to get Bubba back in the house

Cuomo vs O'Malley likely.

I'd like to see Evan Bayh in it.

I'd take Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton, or Joe Biden.... Warren, especially.

I'd like to see Warren in it. Great background and experience. You guys need to put someone uber qualified up this time just in terms of credibility.

I don't lean left by any means but would at least hear someone like Warren out.

Cuomo should stay away. All of the local money he would get is going straight to Hillary.

Good to hear. Is that the consensus among the Indies you talk to? I'm an Independent and also like Paul.

Not really. The "Independents" I talk to are mostly Californians. They'll call themselves independent but will reliably be team players for the D party.

Warren has no shot in hell. She's the left's Sarah Palin.

Warren is certifiably insane, has no respect for the Constitution or property rights, and lacks even a borderline understanding of economics. Progressives love her.

I do lean extremely left. Warren has no experience to lead the country (Yeah I know neither did Obama). Uncle Joe don;t think so

Not sure of who I would want

Nominate Warren and that opens the door for the republicans need someone in the center
