LSU in 2014 Paradise Jam

Not nearly the competition that was in the Old Spice Classic this past year but it will be a good early test to build chemistry and get away from home. I'd imagine we'll be the favorite to win it. Very intrested to see who else JJ schedules in non-conference this year. We know Texas Tech will make a return trip but I'd like to see a couple tournament caliber teams on the schedule next year.

A little disappointed by the rest of the field. Still, I'm glad we'll get the chance to play in another early season tournament.

Pretty sure we go to UAB next year. And we should get a game as part of the Big 12-SEC Challenge.

I guess Texas is just never going to play us? Were we already in a deal with UMass or was that added for the tip off marathon exclusively?

That will be a good tournament to build up wins. We need to make sure to get at least one big named school that even the casual fan has heard of to come to Lsu for a game in november or december. And we cannot play 5 or 6 state schools like we usually do. Playing half of the southland or swac kills our rpi.

We will be the favorites but were playing big name teams at least. If we win then we have a lot of good momentum. Please put at least a couple of potential top-25 teams on the schedule though.

Pretty sure that's a home and home, was scheduled before the tipoff marathon was announced and the time was just moved I think

We do get one of those games. I remember them mentioning it during our game against Texas Tech.

I love playing in these tournaments. This field looks very winnable and should give our team good experience away from the PMAC
