This has been known since the new ownership took over but I guess it's official now.
And there's nothing wrong with changing it to Arizona.

I hate it, NHL fans hate it.
They think this will expand their fan base and reach across the state. Lolz.
Franchise should be elsewhere right now.

What is there to hate about it? The NFL Patriots are freakin NEW ENGLAND... a region.
I doubt it expands the fan base at all but if they want to be all encompassing throughout the state, I don't see it as a big deal.
Sure there are reason the franchise should be elsewhere, but moving to some small Canadian market isn't going to bring anything new for the NHL. Our attendance is poor (but not the worst) but our TV ratings are solid (lots of snowbirds from hockey states/Canada live here in the winter and will watch on TV).

The Suns are the only team that even plays in Phoenix. The Cards and Yotes play in shitty arse Glendale.

Suns actually still play in Phoenix, Cardinals and Coyotes do not. (Cardinals never have but still.)
