Odell Beckham Jr. took a break from his NFL draft preparations in Arizona to pick up the Paul Hornung Award.
The LSU junior wide receiver was the guest of honor at the award banquet Tuesday night at the Galt House Hotel. The 2012 recipient — West Virginia’s Tavon Austin — wasn’t able to make it last year because of a scheduling conflict with his draft preparations. Beckham said he recognizes the significance of the award, which is presented annually to the most versatile player in major college football.
