"30 Rock" or "Parks and Rec"?

Which one should I get into first. I've watched the first few episodes of 30 rock and it's alright so far.

Parks and rec
Never really got into 30 rock
But think of S1 of Parks as one big pilot. They dont hit their stride til S2

I prefer 30 Rock. Better writing. The entire first season of Parks and Rec is awful. It's a solid show, but is now dragging on.
30 Rock had some dull moments in the middle, but ended strong with a great last season.

I like both quite a bit.
I would look at it this way.
30 Rock is 7 seasons long, 138 episodes, and has finished its run. I think if Arrested Development met Ally McBeal and had a one night stand baby, this would be the result.
P&R is on its 6th year, currently has 102 episodes, and has been renewed for a 7th year. Its most similar to The Office and Modern Family with its semi reality show format.
I think 30 Rock is a tad harder to warm up to mainly due to how polarizing Tracy Morgan is.
Basically, if you want a show that you can catch up to and watch its (probable last) season live, go with P&R. If you'd rather take your time and watch with a more relaxed manner since you know where it ends, go with 30 Rock.

Keep going with 30 Rock. It hits a lull after a while, but comes back strong in the last season. The live episodes are some of the funniest of the series. And there are some really great characters.
Parks is one of my favorite shows, but it's really tough to see much value in the first season. And I think it just gets even better when Brandanowitz leaves.

parks and rec by a substantial margin. season 1 is awful though but it's only 6 episodes.

I really liked Brandanowitz when he was on the show. But his replacements were all the better.

Parks and Recreation, but you have to crawl through the first two seasons.
