I'd go government model. Maybe if you plan on CC'ing it get the Colt.

that 1911 A1 "compact" has a 3.5" barrel , same gun as the Officers ACP just not as fancy

the SA has a 5" barrel and the "Government" size


as noted above, the Colt would be easier for CC
