Just an FYI.
State Police computers are being switched to a new system in the concealed handgun permit office.
It's been down for weeks, and she said it could take as many as 3 more weeks to transfer and get back online to being renewing and issuing permits.
Mine has been pending for 60 days, and can't be processed until the computers are up and going.

FML, I turned my business in early December and haven't heard a damn thing. In the meantime, I guess I'll just strap the S&W 500 to my chest

I usually get my renewal back in a week, pending there isn't some serial killer or other BS going on that bottlenecks the permits.
I just happen to call because it's been forever, and she told me it's pretty much been sitting there "pending" for the last 5 weeks, and I'll be lucky to get it in the next few weeks.
