The game would be delayed for 1 inch of snow?

It's the potential ice that would be on the roads.

It snows in BR like once every 10 years (yes I know it sleeted last week and snowed in '08). There are tons of bridges, big and small, in South LA that can and will freeze over. We don't have equipment or experience to deal with this stuff. Pretty obvious reasons why shite would shut down.

No, the game would be delayed because every major road in the Baton Rouge area has several bridges and overpasses. They will all ice over in the next 24 hours. Neither airport in Baton Rouge, nor New Orleans will be open on Tuesday or Wednesday.

If the teams, officials and game personnel can get to the arena they will probably play.

Agreed but what that does is keep fans from attending the game. It would only be an issue if the UK team and other essential staff cannot make it to the arena. Just my opinion, though, I think it will be interesting to see what happens if the roads are as bad as predicted.

Absolutely. I was just explaining why everything comes to a screeching halt down here for stuff like this.

Sounds to me like they will play it with an empty PMAC. I for one will be wasting 6 lower bowl tickets due to road closures.

IMHO LSU should be on a platform demanding a change of date, but then again....we are LSU.

It would go something like this -

LSU: We DEMAND that you move the game. Our fans will have trouble getting to the PMAC due to snow and ice.
