Will there ever be a movie telling them full story of the Beatles?

It just occured to me that there has yet to be a movie chronociling the Beatles from start to finish (or today). There's Nowhere Boy which has Aaron Johnson playing Lennon but that's about his young years meeting Paul and ends with the Beatles first starting.
It seems to me like there is a lot of good material for this type of movie and one a lot of people would want to see.

They started out in strip clubs.
I think HBO should do a series if you get my drift.

Across the universe. 100 percent factual

I wonder if they'll be honest about Lennon's bisexual proclivities?

There's one called Backbeat or something like that about their days playing clubs in Germany with Pete Best. Came out in the 90s. It was decent.

Isn't that just a story told using Beatles' songs?

You mean what really happened to Paul?

My wife was going ape shite last night about the "real Paul" conspiracy while he was up there playing with Ringo during the Grammys.

You would need a miniseries to tell the whole story
In addition to Backbeat there was a 1979 TV movie called Birth of the Beatles telling essentially the same events. There have been several bios of John Lennon, mostly focusing on his early years.
There was also a Lifetimeish TV movie about Linda McCartney which was most notable (from a Beatle perspective) for depicting the chaotic later period of the band.

Or even a length TV special like the factual special on The Eagles.

If you haven't seen the George Harrison documentary Living in the Material World Pts 1 & 2 you are missing out. Awesome film

One thing to understand is that we will never get the complete Beatles story as long as Paul McCartney and (especially) Yoko Ono are alive.
I remember there was a miniseries about John Lennon in the '80s (produced IIRC by Johnny Carson). I only saw part of it, but the one thing I remember is the actress playing Yoko was very mild in manner, totally unlike the real thing.

impossible to do it in a single film. too much legend, lore, and great music. and theres really no need to make a narrative film about it when theres this:
honestly, the thought of a Beatles film makes my mind hurl. i cant imagine it being good at all.

Unfortunately, you are probably 100% correct.

Was going to say the same thing. Would add Ringo as well.
