18-25 right now.

We're on a 2 game winning streak and have won 3 of our last 4. AD has been playing like the all star he is.

@ Cleveland W
@ Minnesota L
Chicago W
San Antonio L
Atlanta W
Minnesota W
@ Brooklyn W
@ Toronto L
@ Milwaukee W

I'm gonna be a PosiPel and say 6-3, which would put us at 24-28 with 30 games to play.

2/13 Update: I guessed the Brooklyn game wrong.

23-29 at the break; we really missed a chance to make up some ground by losing some very winnable games.

If Jrue comes back then I could see us finishing close to .500, but I really don't want to rush him or Ryno at all.

4-5 or 5-4 more than likely. 6-3 is the best they could do. imagine if they somehow won all 9 and were above .500 before the break. this board would explode with hatred and violence

6-3 seems right but i could see us going 7-2 or even 8-1 with how well we're playing.

How cool would it be if we went 7-2 and got to 25-27 before the break and could actually discuss a playoff run?

The tank is dead. It's time for people to move on and start rooting for wins.

T-Wloves dominate us every time we play, we match up well with the Spurs I would not be surprised if we won that game...Cavs are going to be tough

I'll go with 2 losses to the Wolves, loss at Cleveland, and a loss against Brooklyn or Toronto - 5-4

Agreed. We're better off fighting for a playoff spot than trying to suck enough to get in the top 5 in the lottery. Chances are we probably won't do either but this year I'd rather us try and win rather than continuing the losing culture around here. We may not get our draft pick or a playoff berth, but we will have momentum going into next season

we'll see exactly how well when they lose to the raptors, thunder, and pacers this week

I can't say I agree with that, but I do agree with this...

This is the biggest thing for me.

I know people say you either want to be the best or the worst in the NBA, with middle of the pack being like purgatory.

I think you have to account for a transitional year from sucking absolute dick to being competitive, though. Sure, we went into "win now" mode this past off-season, but there's no controlling the injury bug that we've been dealt. That and we all knew there would be the initial chemistry issues, too.

I'd like to see us continue to play well and win games. That top 5 pick is a pipe dream; we have a guy on our team who is good enough to avoid that shite by himself, and I for one am pretty damn happy about that.

my thoughts exactly

if you dont show heart, if you dont care, if you dont show promise, if you dont win games, then FA's wont come and fans wont fill the stands

maybe the basketball gods will look down and bless us if we play hard and pull off number 1 overall while we sit in the 14th slot

Damn, I'm negative. I say we only win 4 or 5 of those games. I think we drop both to Minn. and I doubt we win at Broklyn. I really haven't kept up with Toronto. How are they this year?

Actually not terrible. They're a "playoff team" in the East. They also had a guy score 51 points the other night.

Current 4 seed in the east. 6-4 in the last 10 with good wins vs Dallas, Minnesota and Brooklyn, but bad losses to Boston, Charlotte, and the Lakers.
