Looking at a few forecasts and it looks like it could nasty. Houston transtar reported 1500 wrecks last week in a two day period.

it looked like it was going to be worse according to the forecasts last night, but this morning not as extreme. instead of 26 and 80% chance of precipitation, only 31 and 60%.
and it won't really crank up until 5AM, instead of most the night like last Thursday.
