What are your favorite vinyl albums. What I mean is there are undeniably albums that sound significantly better on vinyl than on a digital format.
For me, it's usually live stuff Allman Bros-Fillmore, Last Waltz Soundtrack . Particularly my Grateful Dead collection sounds awesome but especially Reckoning.
Others would be
Van Morrrison- Astral Weeks
Otis Redding-Otis Blue
Zeppelin II
John Mayall-The Turning Point
What are y'all's prized possession vinyls as well?

Goddamn. This thread has been worth it for the "Astral Weeks" mention alone. I'll have to dust that one off tomorrow.
As for me, the ones I love spinning the most:
Tom Waits - small change
The animals -
The Rolling Stones- Aftermath
Leonard Cohen - songs of love and hate
The band - the band
Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska
Philip glass - solo piano
Roy Orbison - crying
The crystals -
And then there are a bunch of Motown & stax favorites. There are just too many to list.
The somewhat recent albums I listen to a lot are:
Phosphorescent - Pride
Grizzly BeAr - yellow house
Holy Golightly & the brokeoffs - you can't buy a gun when you're crying
Dirty Three - ocean songs
The black heart procession - 2
Ugly Casanova - sharpen your teeth
There are so many that I'm leaving off, but these are def some of my favorites.
