Have y'all heard the story about how he became the Tiger Stadium announcer? Apparently back in the mid-80's the previous announcer was retiring, and Dan wrote a letter to the LSU Ath Dept asking for the job. Didn't hear anything for a few months so he forgot about it. One day he gets a call asking him to come in and talk. After a little small talk they told him the job was his because he was the only person that had asked for it.

Definitely. And not that crap they tried to pull last year where it took a full minute for him to drop because some genius thought the drop needed to be timed with the eye of the tiger song. Just drop the rope and let him repel right before the starting line ups like he used to do for the kentucky games.
