Has anyone else seen the infomercial for Posigen?

It's a solar power group that specializes in leasing the systems.

It came on after the 49ers/Seahawks game.

They promoted a $60/mo lease but also said that they would do a whole home inspection to make your home energy efficient which is included in the cost.

These companies WANT you to purchase leased systems. The ROI on a leased system in Louisiana, with the subsidies (they would get those) is negative, meaning that they are making money as soon as they lock you in.

First, they will install a system to maximize the subsidy, which is $20K for a system that costs $25K. Second, the depreciation of the system in Year 1 helps to account for the other money they invested.

If someone decides to call them, tell them you want to purchase the entire system in the beginning, and not lease it.
