Forget about how much you hate Seattle for a minute and look at it without being biased. It's heavily based on intent and it was an incidental collision, not a purposeful one. You can't throw roughing the kicker around willy-nilly like that; you'd be pissed if it was your team on the other side.

Has that ref commentator ever opposed the call on the field?

That's at least the third bs call. Refs can't be that bad every game. Something's up.

from the game thread:

Item 1: Roughing the kicker. It is a foul for roughing the kicker if a defensive player:

Why not? They have thrown two 15 yarders on SF "willy-nilly".

This is almost as bad as Patriots/Saints from earlier this year

That game was outright prison rape from the zebras.

Neither roughing nor running into the kicker has anything to do with intent, and everything to do with the potential for injury to the kicker. Diving through the lower portion of a punter's plant leg has tremendous potential for injury to a completely defenseless player.

You're 100% wrong. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I hate both teams but there is no doubt that the refs are rooting for the Seahawks

Same. I liked them until they hired Douchey Pete as their coach.
