Is anybody hearing anything? I can't say I'm not enjoying this. Any team that has had their level of unsuccess and fires a coach in less than a year really deserves this, but I thought they would have something by now.

They're most likely waiting on a coordinator from the final 4 teams. Probably the Adam Gase but I'm not sure what they find so great about him.

Dan Quinn is also a favorite.

A lot of smoke coming out saying Gase is going to tell the Browns hes not interested. Which would be freakin hilarious, cant even get a 27 year old dude to interview for your trainwreck

I can understand wanting to wait, but in the position Cleveland is in, they can't wait until after the super bowl for a rookie head coach. If they wait until after the super bowl, it better be for one of those teams' head coach.

Quinn should be the man for and take the job. There are some nice pieces there on defense to build right now and they can slowly add pieces to the offense. They certainly have the picks to do so.

"No" to Cleveland
McDaniels pulled his name from consideration.

at the cleveland browns. Not only will they get an underwhelming coach. They will have a rookie QB starting (manziel or teddy) and suck AGAIN next year!

Can you really blame them for firing the guy? I mean I think they should have kept him, but I see their point. Browns suck every year. I mean the losing takes a toll. New year, new hopes and another crappy season. This is how it was for the Saints for years. Unless you've rooted for a perennial loser it's tough to understand.

So Cleveland was 4-5 and they finish 4-12 - 7 game losing streak. As management you're so sick and tired of losing that you no longer have a boiling point. It's exhausting. Hell, if you can't win one out of your final 7 games - see ya.

You're forgetting that the 4-5 start was largely due to Hoyer starting. After he got hurt everything started to slide. Chud possibly could have done a better job, but he was dealt a lousy hand.

They went through what, 4 quarterbacks? I don't knkw of any team that will have a good season with that. They have a few key players, but aren't the Broncos or Seahawks by any stretch.

Apparently they've moved on from Quinn and Gase because they don't want to wait until after the SB (or because they've both turned it down) so I read their #1 choice is the OC from Buffalo that they haven't interviewed yet. Right now 31 other teams are beating them this postseason. I hope they're going to keep the scouts in place.
