what would make this season fun

As I sip my beer and cook my duck gumbo I had a vision of what could make this team fun and better in the long run.
The season is pretty screwed and playoffs is not happening and even if we finish in the bottom of the league( to me at worst 3 to 5) our most likely pick would be 6th and since we would not keep it. I am against tanking.
I know it would not happen but… trade machine is fun
We trade Gordon, Roberts, and Steisma
to the Knicks for Carmelo
We get to watch him Davis and Tyreke light it up for the rest of the season and then Melo walks and we have a ton of cap space
The Knicks would want a player like Gordon to sell tickets and they will never attempt to build through the draft
CRAZY I KNKOW. but I do not think any crazier than the people who think that we should tank because i just do not see us finishing in the bottom 2 of the league and that would be the only way we would be guaranteed a top pick.
