Thomas Sandbar Hunting Club

I've recently noticed on my way home from work this pretty patch of woods at the intersection of Tiger Bend and Elliot road and there is a sign that say Thomas Sandbar Hunting club. Anyone here have any info on this property or club? Appreciate any info you might have.

That property just sold. I think Boone bought it. Guess they are leasing it out until they develop it?

I hunt there. Called homestead.

Will have quite a few openings this year.
Quality has fallen off last few years. Woods getting thin
Really a 4-5 man lease but cost so much you need 10 guys to cover the lease.
Close and great during summer with fishing and camping.

Did it sell? They accepted sealed bids back last year, but I heard all were way under what the family had been told by a terrible appraiser it was worth so they didnt accept any of them. Is that not correct? Boone has been leasing it for a number of years for hunting.
