I want to get my future father in law a nice cigar lighter as a small token of gratitude for putting on a nice wedding. He has recently taken up having cigars over the weekend and I noticed he uses a regular bic lighter or just matches for lighting his cigars. Matches are fine and often preferred, but I know he will appreciate if I get him a nice lighter. Can anyone recommend a website or brand for some of the best ones? I don't really want to spend any more than about $100 but I will if the lighter is legit. Also, if I can get it engraved that would be nice. Thanks in advance

Clearly you didn't read the entire post and I think providing comfortably for his daughter for the rest of my life is also a great return on investment so

ETA: now you read it

Yeah, I read it too fast.

Get him a really good box of cigars, and the lighter.

Does he use punch or cut?

I received an awesome torch lighter, engraved, that has 2 sizes of punches on it.

I often get compliments when I break it out in a cigar bar. Love it.

Good luck getting a "really good box of cigars" and a good lighter for under $100.

I've purchased cigar lighter after cigar lighter, and I use a BIC torch. FWIW

I'm flexible on price but at a certain point its hard to justify spending a fortune on a lighter

This is it, but I can't find a site that does
engraving.

LINK

Also, Cigar.com and Cigars International will do box or sampler deals that will include a nice lighter from time to time.

I'd get him a humidor, nice cutter, or some good cigars instead. Cigars are meant to be lit with matches.

Thank you everyone for responses. And to everyone else, I'm sorry I am not able to buy a Rolex or Country Club membership like most of you did for your FIL. Maybe one day I can be an OT baller.
