anybody think that maybe TBrown & Speedy knew Adoree and Chi was coming to LSU and that played a part in them not coming to LSU.

adoree- punt returner, corner, wideout
Chi - wide out

I assure you there is no one on LSU's roster or recruiting radar that would deter Tony Brown. I do not claim to know all the reasons behind his choice of Bama, but I guarantee that "fear of competition" was not one of them.

Would be great to get those two . I dont think it swayed speedy and tony because I dont think they knew the intentions of chi and adoree. No one knows what most of these kids are planning to do except for them and their immediate family.

if track was the reason we lost Tbrown then it behooves me why Dennis Shaver wasnt more involved wtih his recruitng. if he was involved then there was a major disconnect or turn off somewhere. Hope we learned something going forward with Adoree in regards to his track aspirations

Speedy went to where he was a better fit and we got out recruited by Saban for Brown. Let's get over it and hope for Chi and Adoree.

I'm over it i just find it hard to see a recevier passing up the opportuntity to play at home and replace 2 (1000) yard receivers. That's why i think we get Chi and Adoree.. Also the door for adoree is open for returner as well replacing odell

You guys are sweating Malachi too much. He is well aware of the early PT at LSU. He just wants to enjoy his visits.

We are sweating him because he is THAT crucial to this class. Fans have seen the WRs of the past and having that taste this past year of OBJ and Landry's success on the field reminds us how awesome it is to have wideouts like Trey and Malachi.

Adoree and family had in-homes with coaches from UT, UF, and USC yesterday.

Word from the family is it's a UF vs. UT battle, with USC and then LSU looking in.

We've been hearing for months that Tennessee was the dark horse, but just like you guys, we're hoping for the best.

The joys of recruiting...

I would say that you are wrong. There are plenty of young players ahead of him at LSU.

Tony Brown has known for months he was going to Bama. My wife and I live in The Woodalnds Tx. and happened to meet his uncle who was there visiting Tonys dad at the hospital. We started talking to this guy because he was wearing a Bama hat and I had my Lsu hat on. So he tells me I have a niece going to Lsu and a nephew going to Bama. I knew instantly who he was talking about. Once I found out he was from Beaumont I came out and asked him please tell me your not talking about Tony Brown! Well he was of course...He tells me Tony had just came home from a Bama recruiting trip and was hooked and it was a done deal. This was at least 8-9 months ago...funny tidbit he said Saban let Tony drive his car on the trip....wtf.... I was always hoping in the back of my mind this guy was pulling my chain and wasn't who he said he was...when he committed I was like F***!!!

I do not claim to know all the reasons behind his choice of Bama, but I guarantee that "fear of competition" was not one of them. I know the reason and it had nothing to do with competition. It was Saban seizing an opportunity to portray himself as a good person that cares more about Tony and his family than Tony the football player. We all know its BS, but kudos to him for pulling it off.

Speedy liked aTm and Sumlins offense so he went to College Station. TB and his mom bought into what Saban was selling. If there's a reason Brown didn't come here it'd be the two freshman CBs we had this year and he saw he wouldn't crack the top 2 until his jr year
