I posted this thread last night LINK and it was anchored this morning.

Then I posted another on the OT, asking why the above thread was anchored and that thread got deleted.

What gives?

BTW. . . As far as I can tell it meets none of the reasons in the stickied thread above for why was my post anchored.

Are you sure it meets this requirement?

quote:

1. The subject of the thread is too short and not descriptive enough. We often see users just put one word or sometimes two words. Even 3-4 words can be too short. These are immediately anchored. Again, be descriptive. The subject should contain the point of your thread.

No need to post it twice. I unachored your original thread.

Chicken's wife left him for a man from Hot Springs...ever since then all Hot Springs threads get wacked/anchored.

Thanks. Appreciate it. Figured that had to have been the only thing but then I looked at some of the other threads and didn't see how it was any different than "Thoughts on Puera Vallerta" and "Question for LSU Students" so figured all was well. Appreciate the bump though.

I figured this was the only other option.

Is not very descriptive. A title stating "What can we do in a Weekend in Hot Springs, AR" would have been better.

"Thoughts on Puera Vallerta" and "Question for LSU Students"

The first one has an understood "What are your" ahead of the actual question, but you still know what the thread is about in reading the title. The "Question" title sucks though.
