NBA League Pass Blackout

Trying to watch the Knicks on League Pass from Lexington, KY. And the game is blacked out for me and says "This game is not available due to blackout restrictions. Watch this game on MSG."
Contacted the support people and the lady told me to clear all browsing data "cookies, cache, etc." because apparently UK's internet service redirects my IP to Columbus, Ohio. Which still makes no sense as that is not in the NYC metro area.
Just was wondering if anyone had experienced any issues like this before.

If league pass is blacked out it typically means that it's available on a local broadcast. Did you just buy the online package or is it through a provider?

Online.
It's definitely not available locally. I'm in Lexington, Kentucky. And the game is between the Charlotte Bobcats and New York Knicks. Neither close to here.

Right, but the broadcast rights might be. I actually spoke to someone on the phone about this very thing recently, but it was through my provider. Not so sure about online.

I had to cancel League Pass this year because it blacked out all of the Grizzlies games here in Tuscaloosa, even though I only get the Hawks games.

It's just weird because over break I was able to watch every game in South Carolina, but in Kentucky it is all fricked up.

What's the point of league pass then?
