Replacing stock on m96 Carl Gustaf 6.5x55mm Swedish Mauser

Does anyone on the OB have any tips or experience on replacing the stock on a previously sporterized m96 Carl Gustaf 6.5x55mm Swedish Mauser?
I was given this rifle years ago and have killed a deer with it using the open sights. Right now, it is just plain ugly, The stock on it has been cut up with a pistol grip added. I would love to drop it into a fresh stock (something like this), get the bolt bent, put some nice glass on it and start laying down some brown with it. I just don't know where to start or if the stock replacement is something I should even attempt on my own. Thoughts?

Not a clue how difficult it would be. It's only $65 so you wouldn't lose too much money if it doesn't work out.
I have a Swiss K31 and really wish that somebody manufactured a composite stock for it. It is one hell of a rifle but it is extremely heavy and not very practical.
