Anyone have reports from S.Alabama? Usually starts picking up about now. We hunt in Monroe county and have only seen a few rubs so far.

Headed to camp this weekend!

I'm hunting in AL this weekend and it would mean a lot to me if the deer would begin the rut towards this weekend. Thanks in advance for any help you fellas could provide.

I'll be in Dallas County this weekend. Couple monsters shot in the last week and a half. I hope I can get in on the action or at least but Lil Z on his first

Hunt Baldwin county and the rut hasn't really kicked in full blown yet. Supposed to be pretty damn cold this weekend here so I think it should kick start it

The young bucks are starting to chase around a little bit

We're hunting in Henry Co. and it's definitely in full swing. There's been a few bucks killed in the last couple weeks that I know of and most of them were right behind a doe. I saw two different sets of tracks in the roads this weekend where a buck was running right behind a doe.

Our other member had 3 bucks (2 spikes and a 6 point) chasing a doe Sat morning. He shot and missed it

Other than that, me my BIL and dad didn't see anything with horns

I did see 3 does that were by themselves but no bucks behind. I saw several fresh scrapes but were pretty damn small in size

Edit: this is north of Wilcox exit on I10
