I have no idea why everyone thinks Greer will just up and retire. He's only 31. Dude had a bad injury, but it's not an uncommon one. Players heal from this and come back strong, so there's nothing to suggest he won't.

It seems the be the narrative. I thought he would need to restructure in the coming year and with the injury it seems more likely. Hope rehab goes well and he still has wheels for us next year.

Morgan - Back up that can hopefully stay healthy. He's fast as frick, could use him to help stretch the field.
Robinson - Gone unless he takes a really cheap deal
Greer - I'm hoping he's alright, but its likely end of the road for him. If he gains his health he will need to trim a lot off his contract. Save a lot getting rid of his contract.

I agree, but he is going to have to prove pretty early to the Saints that he can be nearly as close to the player he was, or else he is gone...

the reason we let Henderson walk was to let Morgan take over that deep threat role
remember this...?
he just suffered a bad injury during camp this year... I think he can come back and be the deep threat we need... maybe sureing up what was missing in our WR corps this year
