I dont really follow the NFL that closely but us drafting Trent Murphy when we could draft Allen Robinson? do we have a need for a OLB that would cause us to draft Murphy cause like i said i dont really follow that closely.

We have somewhat of a need, but with Butler coming back, I would much rather a WR or CB.

I'd go Jordan Matthews at that point. If they were intent on an OLB then I'd rather go with Kyle Van Noy.

the thing with WR is you can almost equal value in round 2 than you can at the end of round 1.

would you not want to just go ahead and get the best WR available? Just wondering your opinion.

Cause this is a deep WR draft. If you can fill in a need at another position that isnt as deep in the draft (say CB), then you pick that guy and grab a WR in the 2nd round, who will be just as talented as the guy you could have nabbed in the 1st round.

Unless someone slips that shouldn't.

Not only that, but since we as fans are clamoring for someone who is a big/athletic type receiver who can also impact the return game, you can take a risk on a combine monster who isn't the most productive college receiver, or someone with character concerns who falls in the draft. Those types are equally as good as the Receivers you would get at the end of the 1st round.

The problem with (most of) the WRs with 2nd round grades is you don't always get the complete package. The guys who go in round 1 have a combo of size, speed, and physicality. As you drop through the rounds you start to lose some of these things. That's why guys like OBJ and Landry have a hard time going in the first - they're small.

Jordan Matthews. I feel like the saints do need another OLB, but I feel Matthews would be a better contributor as most really good WR will be gone by 2nd or 3rd round.

We do not pass on Tuitt for a LB. If this is how it pans out, we take Tuitt no doubt about it

There are a ton of WRs. There are 19 underclassmen alone that have declared.
